Obama’s Abortion Love Affair

There are some things we shouldn’t let ourselves forget. I remember seeing this before the election and being appalled and grieved. Pray for him.

Obama’s Love Affair With Abortion

February 28, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: abortion, anti-christ, barack obama

I don’t understand the obsession that Obama has with abortion. It appears as if he’s on a mission to systematically increase the mass slaughter of the unborn and he’s willing to force medical professionals across the country to do it.

Conscience? We Don’t Need No Stinking Conscience!

One of the last acts of the Bush administration was to pass a regulation that allowed doctors and health care professionals to refuse to perform abortions based on moral ramifications. A Health and Human Services (I just find that title ironic) announced that they will post their intentions and open a month long discussion on the issue from medical professionals around the nation as well as the public at large. That official did not want to be named because the notice had not been completed yet.

“It would be a horrible move. These regulations were a long time coming,” said Tom McClusky, vice president at the Family Research Council. “What they seek to do is protect patients, nurses, doctors and other health care professionals from being forced to violate their consciences.”

As always, it was the wording in the bill that is the bone of contention. Supporters said that is clarified federal policies and increased awareness to medical professionals about what they were allowed to do in keeping with their conscience. Opponents said it was too vague and argue that it would reduce access to health care services.

“I think it’s a wonderful step,” Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.), co-chair of the Congressional Pro-Abortion…errr…Pro-Choice Caucus. She’s introduced legislation to overturn the regulation.

“That rule was actually a poorly drafted last-minute attempt to, I think, restrict health care access and I think it would have had far-reaching and unintended consequences.”

The White House released a statement saying Obama supports a “carefully crafted” conscience clause, not Bush’s version. In other words, make it more difficult for doctors, nurses, and others, to refuse to perform abortions.

The Change Hasn’t Changed

In my post Four Reasons To Have An Abortion, I laid out the facts as to why people have an abortion. None of them are reasons. All of them are excuses. More importantly, as a Christian (a real one), we should oppose this kind thing at every turn. The fact that this man supports such a heinous act and calls it “health care” should be a big red flag. The Bible is clear:

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border. (Amos 1:13)

We have to stand against this, pray against this evil and be what God has called us to be: beacons of light in a land of darkness.

Get on the horn right now and start giving your representatives and senators a call. Email them and let them know that you oppose this.

We’d Rather Kill Babies, Thank You

January 28, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: FOCA, Life Issues Institute, abortion

HERE WE GO!

I knew it wasn’t going to be long before the leftist agenda started up in all of its ugliness. In a move that many will excuse as they see the true face of Obama show, he has begun by lifting the ban on funding for overseas abortions staying true to his leftist agenda. I’m sure Planned Parenthood is quite happy.

I was pleasantly surprised to see in the roll call of senators voting for the prohibition that one of my senators, a senator who has been emotionally unstable the last few years, voted to uphold the prohibition. But with a final tally of 37 to 60, it was a sad day for the unborn. Another important thing to note was the fact that four republican senators jumped ship and joined the democrats in lifting the ban. Those senators were Collins (ME), Snowe (ME), Specter (PA), and Murkowski (AK). Chambliss, whose seat was in the balance for quite some time, didn’t even vote.

Also important to note was the one democrat who voted to uphold the ban which was Nelson from Nebraska.

This all is to set the stage for what’s to come in the Freedom Of Choice Act (FOCA). This will kill any bills and laws passed by the states that ban such things as partial birth abortions or require parental notification of an abortion for a minor. In response to this, pro life groups are gearing up to fight this. One of those such groups is the Life Issues Institute. They have a petition that they are asking others to sign. You can be a part of it by clicking here:

GET READY FOR THE RIDE

Yes. The ride to socialism has begun. We will join great countries like Russia and emulate great states like California in a system that will drive us further and further away from the free market, capitalism, and freedom in general.

The bible is clear:

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6)

This country has forgotten its roots laid in the foundational principles found in that great and eternal book, the Holy Bible. We have traded science for faith, idols for God, and morality for relativity.

It is clear that the grassroots efforts in this country of citizens like me and you needs to rise up against the coming disaster of a godless, fiscally irresponsible, infanticidal, tyrannical government.

Prepare yourselves…and don’t forget to hold on to your guns and religion. You’ll need them.

Republican, Conservative, and Black

January 26, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: abortion, african americans, blacks, conservative republicans, macho sauce

I think that it’s very important to understand that all black people did not vote for Barack Obama. As a matter of fact, when we look at the results of the popular vote, it came down to a 52% to 48% split which means that pretty much half of the nation did not want Barack Obama to president. I’m going to take a wild guess and say that a good portion of those were black Americans.

Being black and conservative appears to have some kind of Pariah complex tied to it in the black culture. However, more and more are bucking that mindset as they actually begin to educate themselves on what it means to be a conservative. If you’ve missed that then you may want to check out my series answering the question What’s A Conservative Christian?

That being said, I’d like to provide some proof of my statements.

Below is a young black man that’s a conservative republican. I know that some people are just stunned but there are many out there. He has a series of videos out that I follow and some of are very good. This happens to be one of them.

It all goes to show that not all black people fell for the ruse.

How To Pray For Obama

January 23, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: abortion, anti-christ, barack obama, prayer

Well what many hoped wouldn’t happen has happened. Barack Hussein Obama is the president of the United States. As we see this administration ushered in, what many people are saying is that we should pray for Obama. This is true. Yet, when we say that, what do we mean? How exactly should we pray for Barack Obama?

LORD, LET HIM FAIL

This, of course, is not what many Christians think about when we say we should pray for Obama. Many would argue that it doesn’t foster the great commandment of love. That can’t be further from the truth.

Barack Obama as president does not automatically mean it’s a good thing for the United States. Socialism has proven time and time again throughout history to be the downfall of a nation. Infringing on the freedom that God Himself has given us and slowly taking that away is never a good thing. Praying for his success in supporting and strengthening the genocide of 3,000 babies a day is not what Christians should support. Being hostile to God’s word, the principles this nation was built upon, is never a good thing.

We should pray against that and every other policy that is unbiblical, anti-Christ, and ungodly. We should pray that he fails in this and all others. That is love for our country, our fellow man, and for God.

Scripture points out over and over that when a king was chosen that they set the tone and reflected the spiritual condition of a nation. So Barack Obama as president is not a good thing. God is telling us something. We better listen.

CHANGE

The mantra that we heard throughout the election from Barack Obama was change. Well, there is some change that we should be praying for and that’s Barack Obama’s.

We definitely need to pray that Barack Obama would change in terms of him becoming a believer in Jesus Christ. As the old saying goes, he needs Jesus.

If you think he’s a Christian, you are sorely mistaken. Let me be the first to shout it from the rooftops that Barack Obama is not saved. He’s religious. That never saved anybody.

He’s a humanist trying to masquerade as a Christian and it’s clear that many aren’t buying it (some for the wrong reasons but that’s for another post). A life changing, mind altering encounter with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is what saves and Obama needs one….yesterday.

MY PRAYER

The prayer that should be going out across the nation and the prayer that I will continually offer up to the Lord Jesus Christ is this:

Forgive us Lord for being remiss in our duties, for compromising the values and principles which You put in place to make this nation great to begin with. We’ve failed in our turn on the watch and we’ve reaped what we’ve sown. Have mercy on us Lord.

We proclaim Lord that You are our God. You are our leader. You are the one who should be worshiped. You and You alone are the Messiah.

Give us the strength and the courage to stand for Your truth unabashedly. Let our lives reflect You. Let You be first and foremost in our thoughts. Let Your word rule in our hearts.

Lord God, let Your righteousness shine through this dark time. Let those in our government who are Your enemies fail at every turn. Let every policy, every bill, every law, every stroke of the pen that goes against You and Your word fail.

You alone turn the hearts of leaders and people. Let Your hand turn this nation back again to be a beacon of light and hope. Let those who would want to make this simply political have their eyes opened and understand that this is all spiritual. Send a revival Lord.

Lord, You have shown us where we are at spiritually as a nation. Have mercy on us Lord.

Turn the heart of president Barack Obama to You Father. Let him see the truth Lord. Let him understand more than he’s understood before. Give him wisdom to deal prudently and righteously. Change His heart Holy Spirit to be saved from the wrath to come and serve You and You alone in spirit and in truth.

Four Reasons To Have An Abortion

September 04, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: abortion, conservative Christian

When it comes to abortion, both sides, godless liberals and conservative Christians, are going to do what they can to justify their points. They’ve already made up their minds, presuppositions solidly in place sometimes to the point where logic, reason, and compassion are ignored (sorry conservative Christians but this IS true).

The arguments that are always given for why we must have abortion are normally hinged on the life of the mother or an incident of rape. Yet less than 1% of abortions are for this reason. It’s a smoke screen argument to cover up the real excuses why women get abortions.

I like stats. They are no nonsense. They are what they are and you can’t refute them. They are a direct reflection of what is being measured. They have no bias (unless the person who compiles them slants the information). When the stats purely speak for themselves, they can be powerful.

With that, we’ll get into the top four reasons why women get an abortion counting down for the bottom to the top:

4. Don’t Want To Be A Single Parent/Problem With Spouse

Being a single parent can be a very taxing ordeal. It’s a high stress situation and if you’re having marital problems on top of it, it can be doubly taxing. To make things worse, hormones work on the emotions and cause women to think and do things that are not healthy.

That being said, it’s really not a reason to end the life of a child. What begins to coalesce in the mind of the mother is the world of “what ifs”. If replayed long enough, they turn into being only possibilities to definite probabilities. Worry gets you no where and contributes to impaired outlook on life (Matthew 6:25-27).

3. Interfere With Work Or School

Though every excuse that will be listed is not justifiable from a biblical standpoint and is just lame, this has got to be the lamest of all. It is a reason stooped in nothing but self, based on a foundation of narcissism. It screams, “I will eliminate your future so I can have one.” Yet there’s no guarantee that the future plan is the future you will get (James 4:13-16) so the argument is a faulty one.

2. Cannot Afford The Child

On the outside, this looks like it may be a legitimate reason. Who wants to bring a baby into the world without being able to properly take care of them? Yet, there are thousands of people who have the ability to take care of a child but who can’t have one. In that situation, it’s win/win because lives are blessed, not taken when abortion is eliminated from the picture. It is a way of God providing what’s needed (Isaiah 49:15)

1. Concern Or Responsibility To Others

This excuse is an all encapsulating one that can include any of the previous three. At it’s core, it’s caring more about what other people think. It has a strong underlying tone that an adulterous affair has taken place (Proverbs 6:32).

It’s ironic that pro-abortionists fight for their right to continue infanticide and yet the number one reason that abortions are committed is because someone’s ‘choice’ is being heavily influenced by the environment of the people they are around, effectively making it their choice.

However, if that environment changes to people who are pro-life, they switch to the argument that those people are interfering with that mother’s ‘choice’.

Not One Good Reason

Every one of these excuses are just that: excuses. Not reasons. In every case, it is the affect of bad or sinful decisions through a lack of wisdom that put them in the situation they are in. Promiscuity and fornication have devastating consequences on a person’s whole being (1 Corinthians 6:15-20), the most dire ending in the murder of a child (Exodus 20:13). Yet, even then it doesn’t have to be the end. Adoption is a viable answer and the research bears this out.

As Christians, we should be pushing adoption like there’s no tomorrow from the very fact that we’re a part of the family of God through that same method (Romans 8:14-15). Our prayer should be that of Deuteronomy 21:8-9:

Forgive, O Jehovah, thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and suffer not innocent blood to remain in the midst of thy people Israel. And the blood shall be forgiven them. So shalt thou put away the innocent blood from the midst of thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah.

Abortion And Slavery: Peas In A Pod

September 03, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: abortion, pro life, racism

Bill Clinton’s Pro Life Statement…Sort Of

In 1998, president Clinton stated that he wanted to keep abortion “safe, legal, and rare”. Now if you’re paying attention, you’ll wonder why he said “rare”. Why would he want it to be “rare”? The inference is that there’s something wrong with it. Otherwise, he should have been encouraging women to say, “Yes please. Can I have another?”

This is also played out in this years election. The Democrats have decided to drop that whole line of verbal feces for a new line according to Kay Steiger of Pushback:

It looks like the Democratic Party dropped the “safe, legal and rare” part of its platform on choice. The new platform which was just released, puts less of an emphasis on the controversial abortion reduction framework.

Again, why reduce it if there’s nothing wrong with it to begin with? Isn’t it just like taking the pill? Most abortions are elective and have nothing to do with a life threatening situation. So why reduce it?

Yeah. They know why.

You Are Not A Person Says Me

If you asked a pro-abortionist (yeah, I said it like that on purpose) if they were pro-slavery, they’re probably going to say no (we hope). Yet pro-abortionists are guilty of using the same arguments as the pro-slavery crowd back in the 1800s.

In the Supreme Court case Dred Scott v. Sandford, they ruled that blacks were non-persons under the Constitution and therefore had no rights as citizens. In 1973 in Roe v. Wade, Sarah Weddington, attorney for Norma McCorvey (Roe), said this:

Life is an ongoing process. It is almost impossible to define a point at which life begins or perhaps at which life ends.

In one fell swoop, she argued for both abortion and euthanasia. In addition, just like Dred Scott v. Sanford, unborn babies have no rights. They’re nothing but property.

A Mirror Reflection

There are some rather stunning similarities both of these cases:

Dred Scott v. Sandford Roe v. Wade
Slavery is legal Abortion is legal
7 to 2 decision 7 to 2 decision
Blacks are non-persons Unborn are non-persons
Blacks are property of the owner Unborn are property of the owner
Abolitionist should not impose morality on the slave owner. Pro-lifers should not impose morality on the mother.

From Legislating Morality, Geisler and Turek pg. 162

This just goes to show that those who don’t remember the past are doomed to repeat it.

The Bible IS Clear

Contrary to what some pandering left leaning pastors want to say, the Bible really is clear on when life begins. As a matter of fact, it says life begins BEFORE conception (Jeremiah 1:5). It’s man’s evil devices that ends life, in this case through the government (1 Samuel 22:19), then calls it a good thing (Isaiah 5:20) since it’s legal. Ask any pro-abortionist if “pro-choice” is good.

Obama says he supports a woman’s right to choose which is synonymous with saying he is pro-abortion. He’s also made it clear he’s not interested in overturning Roe v. Wade and obviously wouldn’t appoint judges to do that. In short, he will continue the ’spirit of Herod’ (Matthew 2:16). THAT, folks, we don’t need.

The spiritual ramifications of this are devastating:

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border. But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind; (Amos 1:13-14)

Let’s not tempt the Lord anymore (Matthew 4:7) but relentlessly and tirelessly battle for the lives of those who can’t do it for themselves.

TOMORROW: Four reasons to have an abortion….or not.
