Sponsor: Reduce Debt With Bills.com

December 02, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: ad disclosure policy, advertising

With the way the U.S. economy is going right now, people losing their houses and jobs, big business on the verge of going under, and the American dollar falling in worth by the minute, a common denominator across the board that contributes to all of those problems is debt. But with every problem there’s a solution.

Christians should know that though the Bible doesn’t say that debt is wrong, it does plainly discourage getting into it and encourages getting out of it. It should be the financial goal of every Christian to be free from debt.

The Bible states, The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7). No one likes to be beholden to anyone and being financially bound is not God’s best for us (Matthew 6:24). If you’ve found yourself in a financially tight situation then maybe it’s time to sit down, get your finances in order and make a plan to get out of debt. Part of that plan may be debt consolidation and I encourage to take a look at Bills.com Debt Consolidation.

At Bills.com, they have a simple system in place for you to take all of your unsecured debt and lump it into one payment. The advantages of this are simplicity for you in keeping up with your debt, especially if you’re having trouble making minimum payments. Also, it can lower your monthly payments because of how it’s structured and if you use something as collateral like your home, the interest rates can be even lower than normal. It’s way better than bankruptcy from a credit standpoint as it avoids you having that black mark on your credit report.

If you want to be unshackled from your financial situation fast but aren’t quite sure how to do it, go on over to Bills.com and explore your options. Make a decision to today to be debt free.

Last Day Sale Online At K-Mart

November 26, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: ad disclosure policy, advertising

Well Black Friday is just a couple of days away and every retail store is going to be pulling out the stops when it comes to store specials. Many of the stores are doing pre-Black Friday sales and one of those stores is K-Mart.

Today is the last day for you to go to Kmart.com and take an extra 10% off of the price. Like the 1/4ct tw Diamond 5-Stone Journey Pendant and Earrings Set in 10K Yellow Gold or the Abbey Hill Bedding Medallion Dream Bedding Collection which they have for an extra 30% off.

These deals are online only and good until tonight (November 26th). Oh…the sales price shows up in your online cart, not the product page so if you think the deal is good already, wait until you click over.

If you can’t get there tonight, don’t worry. Kmart will take off an additional 10% on the following categories through December:

  • Women’s plus sleepwear
  • Women’s attention brand
  • Girls and boys tops
  • ALL juniors
  • Men’s shirts and bottoms
  • Big men’s shirts and bottoms
  • Infant and toddler bedding

Plus, K-Mart is having a little fun this year and hiding ornaments throughout the store that well allow you add more savings. So even though these deals are online only (and the first two end TONIGHT), it’ll be worth your while to hop in the car and drive over to your nearest K-Mart.

Another Great Online Deal

November 25, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: ad disclosure policy, advertising

Christmas is right around the corner and there’s nothing that says you can’t treat yourself to a little gift giving. So now would be the perfect time to replace your old ceiling fan and I’ve found just the place to do over at the Ceiling Fan Warehouse.

I’ve always been a ‘fan’ (excuse the pun) of online shopping and which is where I’ve found my best deals. So when I did a comparison with other ceiling fan shops, I happily found the Ceiling Fan Warehouse to have the most competitive prices. Whether it was Decorative Style Ceiling Fans, Contemporary Style Ceiling Fans, or Hugger Style Ceiling Fans, their prices came in at an affordable price or many times lower.

You’ll be amazed at the selection. I didn’t know there were so many kinds of ceiling fans out there. You can even choose the style of the blades and the particular controls you want.

Getting around the website was a breeze. You can search by manufacturer, style, or theme. The amount of information given on each product is way more than you’d expect. The product photos are detailed and they’re a company that has been around since 1969. Longevity is a good thing because that tells you they know their business and they’re not some online fly by night operation.

They’re available Monday through Saturday from 9:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. so go ahead and shoot over to the Ceiling Fan Warehouse or if you’re near their south Florida store, stop in for yourself. Tell the Truth Manifesto referred you.

Sponsor: L.A. Police Gear

November 25, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: ad disclosure policy, advertising

I am a military buff. I love guns, missions, tactics, the whole nine. I have a whole slate of military like PC games like Call of Duty and Rainbow Six. Even in the MMORPG I play, City of Heroes, my main character uses guns and tactics. So when I got a chance to review a police gear website, I went for it.

When I first went to the website, I was impressed with the layout. Everything is in a place where it’s simple to find. You can mouse over the categories and you have over 50 different ones to choose from: guns safes, GPS units, optics, tactical vests, mace, handcuffs, and a whole lot more.

Right now they have a special on their 5.11 Tactical Jackets where they offer FREE shipping both ways. I don’t think you can beat that with a stick. Their prices are pretty reasonable so hop on over there and take a look at their selection. Tell them The Truth Manifesto referred you.

Now…A Word From Our Sponsor

November 20, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: ad disclosure policy, advertising

Well things are getting a little involved here at The Truth Manifesto. So much so that we’re running advertisements. You may have noticed that in one of my recent posts. These advertisements come in a two different ways. Let me explain:

1. Sidebar Ads – Of course you have our sidebar ads. Those ads we run to try and match up with our audience the best we can. We’ll be running a poll here very soon in terms of finding out just what you, my readers, are interested in so look for it later on.

2. Post Ads – Some of the ads that we run will be in the form of a post. You’ll recognize them because it will plainly say so at the top of the post.

Why Run Ads?

That’s a good question seeing that the site is mainly one of news and opinion. But really it’s quite simple: people gotta eat. Though I could gain to lose some pounds, I still need to eat occasionally and that takes money.

Advertising Disclosure

So what exactly is our advertising policy? Below you’ll find our Advertising Disclosure Policy which explains in a nutshell how this all works:

The compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.

Why Tell Us?

The reason I have this is for a couple reasons:

1. If you’re an advertiser you understand our policy towards advertising.

2. Some of the places I write for require we have one to get paid. Always an important incentive.

In this policy I want to work with my readers. I do extensive research on advertisers for forum posts because they are getting a premium place on the blog. If you are having any trouble with any of these advertisers, let me know. I’m not afraid to pull advertising for a company that doesn’t treat its customers right. The flip side is true also. If you are having a great experience with an advertiser, let me know.

That’s all she wrote. If you are interested in advertising on the blog, I have reasonable rates so please use the contact link in my profile to contact me and we can put together a package that suitable and affordable for you.

O.K. On to other news.

Defeat Debt With Freedom Debt Relief

November 18, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: ad disclosure policy, advertising

One thing that we’ve learned from this past administration is that spending without a way to pay it back is a mighty fine way to open up your own personal money pit. With the mortgage bailout now marinating and a possible GM bailout on the horizon, it’s always good to have a plan of attack to pay back your debt in case some unforeseen incident happens upon you.

At Freedom Debt Relief, they believe that the way to approach your debt is aggressively. Through debt negotiation or debt settlement, they cater to the segment of the population that is in bankruptcy or going into serious debt. They can usually get your debt reduced up to 50%. That’s nothing to sneeze at if you’re looking at paying thousands upon thousands of dollars to settle your unsecured debt.

On top of that, once your settlement is paid, that’s it. You don’t have to pay any more. GM could learn a thing or two here instead of going to the American people to cover their debt.

If you’re anything like me, you like to see the proof. Raw data is always a selling point for me. Well, check out some of the things FDR did in September of 2008 for some of their top settlements:

$19,000 debt settled to over $1,500.
$16,000 debt settled to $1,700.
$12,000 debt settled to $1,700.

Sure, you could go with credit counseling, debt consolidation, or, God forbid, bankruptcy. But your chances of paying more go up. For example, with FDR if you owe $30,000, they can knock that down to about $20,000. Maybe even less.Thousands less. You certainly won’t do that with minimum payments which do nothing but put you further and further into the hole.

You don’t have to worry about FDR. They’re accredited members of the TASC (The Association of Settlement Companies) and named as Entrepreneur Magazine’s Hot 100 businesses.

If you have thousands of dollars of unsecured debt and want to be debt free in 2-3 years, contact FDR today at their website. Or give them a call for a one on one consultation at 1-800-544-7211 between 6:30 a.m. or 7:30 p.m. PST.
