The Act of Betrayal – Part 1

April 11, 2010 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: Christian living, God, anti-christ, christianity, obama, truth manifesto

The name Benedict Arnold has been gone down in American history being synonymous with  traitor, much as that of Judas Iscariot with betrayer. I was invited the day before good Friday to speak at a small gathering on the movie The Passion of the Christ. This is a movie which I own but I’ve only seen once. It is, for me, spiritually taxing and emotionally draining. Even as I was discussing the movie, I cried in remembrance of the atrocity and murder of the Lord. This was all set in motion by the a kiss of betrayal.

Some of us have gone through some kind of betrayal in our lives. Actually, we’re currently in the midst of it now. We see an act of betrayal on display in our country right now as the administration in Washington D.C. seek to pass policies that tear at the foundation of what the United States on regardless of the outcry of the majority of American people. They seek to spin it as what’s best for the people when it’s simply a power move.

It’s a shot at the principles of our nation. It goes beyond the politics that are being wrangled throughout all of this. It’s an insidious shifting of the nation’s identity. As Obama so plainly stated in 2009, he does not think this is a Christian nation. This administration is the most anti-Christ to ever be put into office. They are pawns of the evil one and they do so willingly.  A betrayal against God Himself.

Our Own Back Yard

Betrayal can hit closer to home. I’ve personally seen this is in the church as splits happen under all kinds of sinful pretenses and the actions of those who are supposed to exhibit the character of Godly men reveal what’s truly in their hearts. The Lord was spoke truly when He said:

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. (Matthew 23:27)

I have personally been on the receiving end of betrayal from Christians more so than non-Christians. The axiom is true that you hurt the ones you love. It’s true because we have not realized the total depth and destructiveness of the sin and evil within us.

What To Do

There are may ways to react to betrayal. The first one is anger. Though anger IS an appropriate response, it’s what we use it for in our actions that will define us. It is hurtful and painful but the Lord tells us:

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:  Neither give place to the devil. (Ephesians 4:26)

We are in danger of letting bitterness rule and control us if we give in to excuse of saying we’re hurt. To be hurt for one day is expected. To be hurt for three days can be understood. But to be hurt for months and years is simply saying, “I’m bitter and unforgiving. ”

We take our cues as God’s children from the Lord. He says:

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (Matthew 5:44)

We must surrender to God in this because we cannot deal with it. How this surrender should happen is written plainly in the words of scripture.  Yet, how do we apply this in our lives? How do we get over the pain? I’ll talk about that in my podcast later this week.

An Exegetical Moment: Hating The Light

April 26, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: anti-christ, barack obama, faith, humanism, liberalism, religious freedom

On Wednesday, April 29th, this image will be unveiled at the New York’s Union Square. It speaks for itself. The artists purports he just wants dialogue and it’s not portraying him as the Christ.

Not everyone was born yesterday.

It is the kind of blasphemy that those in this country perpetrate Obama Blasphemymore and more as we see The Day approaching. It shouldn’t come as a surprise really.

I find this quite ironic after the Obama administration asked Georgetown University to take down all religious symbols before he would make his speech which Georgetown complied with. If someone were to come into my house and tell me to take down all of my religious symbols, I’d simply tell them they’re not coming in my house.

FOLLOWING CHRIST IS NOT POPULAR

Many have the wrong idea about following the Lord. They believe by doing so, we just become nicer people and in turn, everyone will like us and be drawn to us. In a sense, we should become nicer because we are learning how to love:

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you… (Luke 6:27)

Even when we do this, there will be those that hate us as that statement implies. This is a reflection of the total destructiveness of sin.

But another reality of the Christian is that as we get closer to God and walk more in the Spirit, the more those of the world will hate us.The Word Of Gd

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (John 15:18)

Yes. Being a Christian should make us more loving. But it also doesn’t preclude us from standing for the truth. This is why the world hates us. We stand for truth as the light of the world and through that, the world stands condemned.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16)

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:19)

SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOF

No matter what the world says or does, we should continue to spread the Truth in all its forms. That Truth is the word of God which testifies of Jesus Christ.

What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. (Matthew 10:27)

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (John 17:17)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  (John 14:6)

What we do is not about being popular, being liked, or even being nice. It’s about being light.

Bill HR 1388: A First Amendment Attack

March 26, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: anti-christ, barack obama, first amendment, hr bill

Bill HR 1388 has passed in the House of Representatives and it has some alarming undertones. Obama’s insidious plan to separate our youth from faith in God and indoctrinate their deity as government has begun.

The bill says that it will help promote a patriotic service attitude in youth for the country. However, what it really is saying is it wants to expand the government and lessen the role of faith in young people’s lives.

The puprose couldn’t be clearer, beginning in section 1101 where the wording is changed to expand government scope and influence. Among those changes are:

(2) in paragraph (4), by inserting after ‘income,’ the following: ‘geographic location,’;

(3) in paragraph (6), by inserting after ‘existing’ the following: ‘national’;

(A) by striking ‘programs and agencies’ and inserting ‘programs, agencies, and communities’;

‘(11) leverage Federal investments to increase State, local, business, and philanthropic resources to address national and local challenges;

This really should come as no surprise from an administration that is systematically spending the United States into oblivion, increasing the national debt and deficit by a trillion dollars per year if we keep going down this road.

But the red flag here is the blatant discrimination against religious organizations.

In SEC 113, it states:

(A) ensure that students of different ages, races, sexes, ethnic
groups, disabilities, and economic backgrounds have opportunities to serve together;

Sounds O.K. But what’s missing is religions. At first, this doesn’t seem like a big deal. The line pretty much covers everyone. Yet what we see here is a precursor to the what they really are saying.

NO GOD ALLOWED

Section 1304 Prohibited Activities And Ineligible Organizations now has an SEC 125 amendment. Among the many activities it doesn’t allow, the following are two that have been added. It reads:

(2) Organizing or engaging in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes.

(7) Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services,
providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory
religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities
devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities
primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or
engaging in any form of religious proselytization.

Once again, trying to slide in under the radar, an attack against our freedom of speech and religion is being brought by the Congress of the United States, courtesy of Carolyn McCarthy, Democrat representative of New York.

Section 2 basically says do not protest, dissent, or speak your mind in any way. The first and last part of Section 7 is key because it can include any religious discussion. Basically, no God allowed. Not only does this infringe on our freedom of religion (not from), but it infringes on our freedom of speech under the Constitution.

STATE OF THE NATION

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, (Hosea 4:6a)

The context of this verse of scripture is given from God to Israel at a time where they had forgotten about God because of an increase in their blessing. They had become godless, immoral, liars, and killers. It was this lack of knowledge of God that led in a lack of knowledge the things that mattered the most.

For ye bear with a man, if he bringeth you into bondage, if he devoureth you, if he taketh you captive, if he exalteth himself, if he smiteth you on the face. (2 Corinthians 11:20)

Paul here is talking to the Corinthians about how that church was being led back into bondage by men who spoke well of themselves, put heavy financial burdens on them, and how Christ was not sufficient.

We now have a similar individual who is president of the United States.

Not only is Christ not sufficient, but He’s an enemy that shouldn’t be spoken of along with faith as an expression in general in the public square. God, no matter what faith, is not allowed.

TAKE ACTION

It’s not too late. Take action by calling and writing your senators today to stop this bill as written. We are the government. Let’s take the duty, privelege, and blessing of this republic and show ourselves responsible in caring for this great nation that God has given us.

This is not just about politics. It’s about our future.

Obama’s Love Affair With Abortion

February 28, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: abortion, anti-christ, barack obama

I don’t understand the obsession that Obama has with abortion. It appears as if he’s on a mission to systematically increase the mass slaughter of the unborn and he’s willing to force medical professionals across the country to do it.

Conscience? We Don’t Need No Stinking Conscience!

One of the last acts of the Bush administration was to pass a regulation that allowed doctors and health care professionals to refuse to perform abortions based on moral ramifications. A Health and Human Services (I just find that title ironic) announced that they will post their intentions and open a month long discussion on the issue from medical professionals around the nation as well as the public at large. That official did not want to be named because the notice had not been completed yet.

“It would be a horrible move. These regulations were a long time coming,” said Tom McClusky, vice president at the Family Research Council. “What they seek to do is protect patients, nurses, doctors and other health care professionals from being forced to violate their consciences.”

As always, it was the wording in the bill that is the bone of contention. Supporters said that is clarified federal policies and increased awareness to medical professionals about what they were allowed to do in keeping with their conscience. Opponents said it was too vague and argue that it would reduce access to health care services.

“I think it’s a wonderful step,” Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.), co-chair of the Congressional Pro-Abortion…errr…Pro-Choice Caucus. She’s introduced legislation to overturn the regulation.

“That rule was actually a poorly drafted last-minute attempt to, I think, restrict health care access and I think it would have had far-reaching and unintended consequences.”

The White House released a statement saying Obama supports a “carefully crafted” conscience clause, not Bush’s version. In other words, make it more difficult for doctors, nurses, and others, to refuse to perform abortions.

The Change Hasn’t Changed

In my post Four Reasons To Have An Abortion, I laid out the facts as to why people have an abortion. None of them are reasons. All of them are excuses. More importantly, as a Christian (a real one), we should oppose this kind thing at every turn. The fact that this man supports such a heinous act and calls it “health care” should be a big red flag. The Bible is clear:

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border. (Amos 1:13)

We have to stand against this, pray against this evil and be what God has called us to be: beacons of light in a land of darkness.

Get on the horn right now and start giving your representatives and senators a call. Email them and let them know that you oppose this.

Stimulus Package: Anti-Faith, Unconstitutional

February 10, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: anti-christ, constitution, first amendment, humanism, liberalism, stimulus package

I wish that were a misprint.

The fact of the matter that there is language in the Obama stimulus package that is patently discriminatory against religious faiths. This really should come as no surprise given that liberalism is anti-Christ and anti-religion. It’s a humanist philosophy.

Specifically, pages 164-165 of the stimulus bill says this:

(2) PROHIBITED USES OF FUNDS. No funds awarded under this section may be used for – (C) modernization, renovation, or repair of facilities (i) used for sectarian instruction, religious worship, or a school or department of divinity; or (ii) in which a substantial portion of the functions of the facilities are subsumed in a religious mission; or construction of new facilities.

The funds referred to are $3.5 billion dollars which is to go to public and private colleges and universities.

What many may be saying is why should they? Isn’t that a promotion of a religion? No it isn’t. It’s actually unconstitutional.

In the 2001 Good News Club v. Milford Central School Supreme Court decision, the court ruled that restricting religious speech within the context of public shared-use facilities (or schools) is unconstitutional. By allowing funds to be parsed out ad hoc based on whether a public building is used for religious activities is discriminatory and goes against the 1st Amendment, which states:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This would in effect bar use of campus buildings for groups like Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Campus Crusade for Christ, Catholic Student Ministries, Hillel and other religious organizations.

Senator Jim DeMint said, after a 43-54 defeat of his amendment to that language, “This is a direct attack on students of faith, and I’m outraged Democrats are using an economic stimulus bill to promote discrimination. This is now an ACLU stimulus designed to trigger lawsuits designed to intimidate religious organizations across the nation. This language is so vague, it’s not clear if students can even pray in a dorm room renovated with this funding since that is a form of ‘religious worship.’ If this provision remains in the bill, it will have a chilling effect on students of faith in America”

The solution is quite simple. It’s time to make our voices heard.

Start writing emails and making phone calls to your senators today. If you’re not sure who they are, you can go to www.votesmart.org and look at your particular state to see who your senator is if you don’t know. Write AND call them. The number to call is 202-224-2131. Tell them to change this language immediately and to scrap this bill altogether. Let your voice be heard in support of the Constitution and freedom everywhere.

God bless you.

How To Pray For Obama

January 23, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: abortion, anti-christ, barack obama, prayer

Well what many hoped wouldn’t happen has happened. Barack Hussein Obama is the president of the United States. As we see this administration ushered in, what many people are saying is that we should pray for Obama. This is true. Yet, when we say that, what do we mean? How exactly should we pray for Barack Obama?

LORD, LET HIM FAIL

This, of course, is not what many Christians think about when we say we should pray for Obama. Many would argue that it doesn’t foster the great commandment of love. That can’t be further from the truth.

Barack Obama as president does not automatically mean it’s a good thing for the United States. Socialism has proven time and time again throughout history to be the downfall of a nation. Infringing on the freedom that God Himself has given us and slowly taking that away is never a good thing. Praying for his success in supporting and strengthening the genocide of 3,000 babies a day is not what Christians should support. Being hostile to God’s word, the principles this nation was built upon, is never a good thing.

We should pray against that and every other policy that is unbiblical, anti-Christ, and ungodly. We should pray that he fails in this and all others. That is love for our country, our fellow man, and for God.

Scripture points out over and over that when a king was chosen that they set the tone and reflected the spiritual condition of a nation. So Barack Obama as president is not a good thing. God is telling us something. We better listen.

CHANGE

The mantra that we heard throughout the election from Barack Obama was change. Well, there is some change that we should be praying for and that’s Barack Obama’s.

We definitely need to pray that Barack Obama would change in terms of him becoming a believer in Jesus Christ. As the old saying goes, he needs Jesus.

If you think he’s a Christian, you are sorely mistaken. Let me be the first to shout it from the rooftops that Barack Obama is not saved. He’s religious. That never saved anybody.

He’s a humanist trying to masquerade as a Christian and it’s clear that many aren’t buying it (some for the wrong reasons but that’s for another post). A life changing, mind altering encounter with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is what saves and Obama needs one….yesterday.

MY PRAYER

The prayer that should be going out across the nation and the prayer that I will continually offer up to the Lord Jesus Christ is this:

Forgive us Lord for being remiss in our duties, for compromising the values and principles which You put in place to make this nation great to begin with. We’ve failed in our turn on the watch and we’ve reaped what we’ve sown. Have mercy on us Lord.

We proclaim Lord that You are our God. You are our leader. You are the one who should be worshiped. You and You alone are the Messiah.

Give us the strength and the courage to stand for Your truth unabashedly. Let our lives reflect You. Let You be first and foremost in our thoughts. Let Your word rule in our hearts.

Lord God, let Your righteousness shine through this dark time. Let those in our government who are Your enemies fail at every turn. Let every policy, every bill, every law, every stroke of the pen that goes against You and Your word fail.

You alone turn the hearts of leaders and people. Let Your hand turn this nation back again to be a beacon of light and hope. Let those who would want to make this simply political have their eyes opened and understand that this is all spiritual. Send a revival Lord.

Lord, You have shown us where we are at spiritually as a nation. Have mercy on us Lord.

Turn the heart of president Barack Obama to You Father. Let him see the truth Lord. Let him understand more than he’s understood before. Give him wisdom to deal prudently and righteously. Change His heart Holy Spirit to be saved from the wrath to come and serve You and You alone in spirit and in truth.

Public Education: A Call For A Demise

December 30, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: anti-christ, education, humanism, indoctrinization, public schools

Today, I’m not going to make this post long as I thing that the video that I’ll be posting says enough in five minutes and I don’t want to take up too much of your valuable time. But I do want to take up some of your time on something that is highly relevant in our society today. That’s the public education system.

I think that it’s well know that those seven hours out of the day that your child is in school that they be taught at school are crucial to their development and worldview. However, more and more there is a concerted effort to teach our children things that we ourselves know to be wrong and false as conservative Christians.

I personally had to go through this and fought the public school system on a couple occasions on things that many would have considered small but what I knew were just a slippery slope in turning my children’s worldview away from one that was biblical to a relativistic, humanist, anti-Christ outlook. I thanks the Lord that my children are following Him. However, I believe that is because of His grace and some vigilance on my part, vigilance that you would hope wouldn’t be necessary but is.

Take a look at the video below and see if you agree with the assessment. The call is radical. But so was our Lord Jesus Christ. This is not just about a failing system. It’s about the future of our country.

Why I’m Not A Democrat

April 08, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: anti-christ, democrats, liberalism, racism, republicans, socialism

The political climate in the United States today has become one of grave polarization and extreme partisanship. The two reigning parties, the democrats and the republicans, are on a continuous hate fest, most of it coming from one party which is the party I’m discussing in this post.

In the next few blog posts, I’ll begin to look at the political parties and lay out the foundation of why I’m not a part of either.

First in line are the democrats.

Oh…How Things Change

Today’s Democrats are not like yesterday’s democrats though there are a few things that still stand true for them. I’m not a democrat because of the philosophy that they adhere to in order to advance their ideas (or lack of them). Today, liberalism, a term that is synonymous with the democratic party, has crept into the political landscape, turning the party into an amalgam of an anti-Christian/anti-God, humanistic movement. It’s dangerously stooped in communism and socialism.

First, just to clarify, I’m going to list a few of the things that liberalism promotes, a philosophy which is embraced by the democratic party: pro-abortion (let’s call an ace an ace and a spade a spade), pro gay marriage, governmental welfare, medicaid, and social security, anti-death penalty, euthanasia, high taxation, big government, anti-religion. Take a good long look at the policies and belief system of Clinton and Obama. You’ll see this is dead on.

The last one alone should be basis enough for any Christian to stay away from affiliating themselves with that party. However, there are probably a few people out there saying, “I’m a democrat and I don’t support all of that.” That very well could be the case. But the litany of anti-Christ beliefs that the democratic party embraces should have any screaming for the hills and not lending any support to the party if you’re not willing to change it. It goes along the lines of avoiding the appearance of evil (1 Thessolonians 5:22) and liberalism is evil folks. Period.

Understand, the scope of this post is simply to state why I’m not a democrat so I’ll save the specific explanations for each of those for later posts.

Second, democrats masquerade as being a party for black people. The minorities. Surely, you jest?

The democratic party spurred more Ku Klux Klan members than the republicans ever did (the Republicans did their own evil deeds which I covered in Stupid Racist Republicans…Good Riddance) which I have covered in detail in my post Democrats: A Legacy Of Racism.

The democratic party says, “Oh, we know you can’t do it yourself so we’ll help you because you’ll never get a break without us.” That devalues and keeps minorities in a slave mentality that they are weak and need someone to look out for them….like a master or a slave owner. I’m not buying it.

They Can’t Be Serious. Can They?

Obviously they are and it’s working. More African and Hispanic Americans vote democrat than any other party. I firmly believe this is largely because of ignorance and to tow the line to be recognized as being really black (this is a whole other blog post) which would qualify as…well…stupidity. So called black leaders (more like puppets and power mongers) lead this notion to make it look more legit.

Just check out this telling video of what kind of voters the Democratic party turns out:

It’s Just Because Of…Uh…Uhh..

Third, democrats, as I mentioned earlier, have no ideas. They know how to vilify, scream like babies, make scathing (and many times unfounded) accusations, and get emotions riled up. But in the arena of ideas that actually solve problems and issues, they have none. And the ones they have are rooted in communism and socialism and no one really wants to go there so they just stick to what they’re good at which is all the above.

So, as a Christian first with a conscious and a solid understanding of basic biblical truths and principles, I’ll never follow a political party that promotes these things. Ever.
