Examining The Hate: H.R. 1913

May 02, 2009 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: Uncategorized, bible, citizenship, first amendment, government, homosexual agenda, hr bill, liberalism

Congressman John Conyers

Congressman John Conyers

H.R. 1913, the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, sponsored by John Conyers (D-MI), was just passed in the house this past. The bill is, quite frankly, a superfluous piece of legislation that pushes a thought police agenda.

The bill seeks to punish offenders for crimes ‘motivated’ by hate because of race, religion, color, natural origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.

Here’s a slab of common sense: if someone is motivated to hurt some one physically, especially to the point of using a firearm or incendiary device to murder, it’s a safe bet that they hate them. Juuuust a little.

We have laws in place that punishes criminals who perpetrate violent crimes. To add more because of a perceived hate is just political correctness making its way into the courtroom.

BUT WAIT…THERE’S MORE!

Here’s where it gets disturbing and downright discriminatory.

In Section 6, it starts off saying:

(a) In General- Chapter 13 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:

It would make sense to find out what that part of the code says:

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same;

They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

This is what is called the Conspiracy Against Rights and it could, in effect, allow law enforcement to consider speaking against, oh…homosexuality in a church or online, as a hate crime. The key word here would be oppress. It’s an attempted end around the First Amendment.

THE COUP DE GRACE

To throw us a bone, they add this at the end:

Nothing in this Act, or the amendments made by this

Liberal Constituation

Act, shall be construed to prohibit any expressive conduct protected from legal prohibition by, or any activities protected by the free speech or free exercise clauses of, the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Look closely at that. The part we need to be concerned with is protected from legal prohibition. If this bill passes and becomes a law, then it’s legal and therefore the rights you have under the First Amendment are null and void when exercising your free speech if that speech is something they deem oppressive to these groups.

TIME TO GET BUSY

As I said before, this has already passed the house and it needs to be stopped. Americans for the First Amendment need to flood the phones, emails, and mailboxes of their reps and tell them to vote against this bill. Write and call multiple times. It’s time to show them that we’re going to hold them accountable.

Remember, they are employed by us. We are their boss.

The Bible says:

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:9-10)

As Christians, we’re here to serve and we have a responsibility and duty as stewards of this nation to look to protect the welfare of others. To be able to do this is a privilege and a blessing. Take your responsibility as an American seriously. Otherwise, the freedom that we have to worship and speak the very word of God will vanish.

Obama’s Fat Lady Ain’t Sung

November 21, 2008 By: P.R.E.Z. Category: Phillip Berg, YouTube, barack obama, citizenship, constitution

Since the 2000 presidential election we have seen litigation and investigations follow soon after any election. Usually this is related to some kind of voter fraud. But there are several cases which are catching momentum in the news about the legitimacy of Obama’s citizenship.

And The Hits Keep On Comin

Last week I encouraged people to go to ObamaCrimes.com and check out the case against Barack Obama. In a nutshell, Mr. Phillip J. Berg, a University of Toledo graduate (which is where I currently reside) has filed suit against Obama that is questioning the legitimacy of Obama’s citizenship. The ironic thing about the Berg case is that he’s been a lifelong Democrat.

Now, there are several cases pending asking the same thing, including one from the United States Justice Foundation on behalf of the American Independent Party and their presidential candidate Alan Keyes, along with Wiley S. Drake and Markham Robinson, both California electors.

Then there’s a similar case in Hawaii from Andy Martin, an Obama critic, which he’s trying to get the Hawaiian Department of Health to release those records which they are refusing to hand over. They’re stating that privacy statues prevents them from so doing if the entity involved does not have a “direct tangible interest” as laid out by state statute.

More than a few cases have shown up in the courts all around the country in Ohio, Connecticut, Georgia, and Washington, all which have been dismissed. Another in New Jersey was also dismissed but is still pending an emergency stay of application which the attorney, Leo C. Donofrio, is appealing to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Many unconfirmed cases are said to be popping up all over the place: Utah, Wyoming, Texas, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.

Now there’s another online petition that is asking for the public’s help in discovering Obama’s citizenship and therefore his right to be president of the United States.

It’s a dog eat dog world out there and now this thing is starting to grow some teeth.

Oh, That Paradise Hawaii

The Obama birth certificate is said to have been released online. Just a couple problems with that:

1. According to the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, there is a difference between the two documents. A certification of live birth is not an authentication of Hawaiian birth. Specifically they state:

In order to process your application, DHHL utilizes information that is found only on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth (a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL.

2. Obama’s half sister, Maya Sotero, has named two different hospitals where he was supposedly born.

3. Obama’s grandmother stated in a YouTube video that she witnessed his birth in Kenya.

To say that something is off is an understatement.

What Is The Big Deal?

Here’s the number one question I have about the whole endeavor: why hasn’t the certificate been released by Obama? If everything is on the up and up, it should be no problem to produce it and move into the White House. It would also show that he has a slice of integrity. Lastly, he could just put to rest all of this buzz. If someone were to ask me for my birth certificate, I wouldn’t have a problem with giving it up. If they were enemies, I’d put that monster to bed immediately.

No so for the O.

When investigators were sent to the two hospitals to check out the claims made, they were met by sheriff’s deputies.

An Obama spokesperson had no idea why he hadn’t released it.

“I have no idea. I think they released what they chose to release, and Hawaii has confirmed that he was born in Hawaii, so I don’t know what else you want.”

What they chose to release? What the heck does that mean?

It means something smells funny and I ain’t talkin ’bout roses.
